Envelope Books

I have been busy getting my different journals together to sell for Etsy, this one is an envelope book that is very useful for many purposes!
I love to embelish these blank books to add my own personal touch.
I am hopeful to soon add journals that I have painted images on the cover, they take much more time.

Besides working on what new things I can add to my Original Purple Cat store I am also making Christmas gifts and making things for my own home.

This past weekend I made this cute little decorative hand towel for the kitchen, which you can view on my other blog, The Cats In. The pattern is from Art to Hearts, Easy Does It For Christmas.  I have made many things from the book over the years and still have many left to make.

This will be a busy week getting ready for Thanksgiving but I am going to try to sneak in some time here and there to create new things for my Etsy shop.

I finally sat down at my computer and figured out how to set up my PayPal account and buttons for my Etsy store. I have had the Etsy account since September 2009 and didn't really take the time to figure out how to do my PayPal. I would start and something would come up or get interrupted or I just couldn't concentrate. Also I think if you think it's hard it becomes hard.

I did have a few items up by method of payment was by check and in this day and age that is pretty inconvenient with debit and credit cards out there. Those items never sold and I let my posting lapse.

But I am up in running with a big smile and enthusiasm to create and hopefully sell my artful items.

I will be having many different mediums and categories as I don't just have a love for one and as soon as my camera battery is done charging I am taking pictures of all the creative items I have been creating and will get them in my store ASAP.
